This site contains a lot of specific building code detail. That is deliberate, and so is being clear about what it is and is not.

Code information is a summary, not the code
Pages on this site summarize requirements from City of Littleton Building Division Policy #24-001 (5th Revision, May 21, 2026) and from the published materials of other local building authorities.
It is written for homeowners, in plain language, and it is necessarily shorter than the source. It is not a substitute for the published policy, for the adopted codes themselves, or for a determination by the building official with jurisdiction over your property.
Where we state a requirement, we link to the source so you can read it directly. Please do.
Requirements change
Policy 24-001 has been revised six times since it was enacted in 2020. Code editions are adopted on cycles. Other jurisdictions revise on their own schedules.
We make a genuine effort to keep this site current and to date every claim, but there will be periods where a requirement has changed and this site has not yet caught up. Always confirm the current position with the authority that covers your property before relying on anything here.

Jurisdiction matters, and it may not be the one you expect
A Littleton mailing address does not mean your property is inside City of Littleton limits. The Post Office applies the name across three counties.
Where content on this site describes Littleton requirements, it applies to work inside city limits. If your property is in unincorporated Arapahoe County, Douglas County, Jefferson County or a separate municipality, a different authority and different requirements apply.

No professional advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, insurance advice, engineering advice, or a professional opinion about your specific property.
In particular, where we discuss insurance claims, we are describing how the process generally works. We are roofing contractors, not licensed insurance adjusters or brokers. Coverage decisions are made by your carrier under your policy. Questions about your coverage, deductible or claim should go to your insurer or agent.
No inspection means no assessment
General guidance on this site — how to spot hail damage, when to consider replacing a roof, what drives cost — is exactly that. It is not an assessment of your roof.
Every roof is different. Only an inspection of your actual property can tell you what your roof needs, and any figure or timescale mentioned here is orientation rather than a quote.
Pricing
Where cost information appears on this site, it is indicative and subject to inspection. It is not a quote and does not constitute an offer. Final pricing requires an on-site inspection, because the largest variables — deck condition and flashing detail — cannot be seen until the roof is opened.
External links
We link to city and county websites, published policy documents and manufacturer information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. Links are provided so you can verify what we have said, which we encourage.
Third-party names
Manufacturer and product names mentioned on this site are the property of their respective owners. Referring to a manufacturer whose products we install does not imply that the manufacturer endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with us, unless we say so explicitly and it is true.
What is deliberately absent
You will not find customer testimonials, star ratings, review counts, job-completion statistics, award badges or "years in business" claims on this site unless they are verifiably true and we have said where they come from.
This is a choice. Fabricated reviews and ratings are both an FTC matter and a straightforward dishonesty, and we would rather publish the actual code requirements and let you judge.
